次世代に「畳文化」を残すため、

従来の畳職人とは違った分野で有形と無形を意識し創作。

2011年より活動開始。畳の唄「愛され畳(2012)」を作り畳の魅力や課題を発見。

家業である徳田畳襖店の４代目後継者として修行に入り国家資格 1級畳製作技能士を取得。

別名義【MC TATAMI】で「T.A.T.A.M.I(2020ver.)」「畳の上でPARTY」を楽曲配信！

2019年にはノーベル平和賞受賞者ムハマド・ユヌス博士に、

「畳の減少は非常に残念。再興活動は、とても良いこと続けて頑張ってほしい」と称賛を直々にいただく。

2023年度、京都芸術大学 空間演出デザインコース(通信制)に入学、

日本の畳を始めとした、和室の課題に向き合う。
